Production Manager - Aerospace & Defense - Concord, MA
My client is seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for managing production schedules, optimizing workflows, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of skilled technicians and operators.

Description
The Production Manager will report into the Operations Manager and be responsible for:
- Manage day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Plan and oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and efficiency projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of production or manufacturing leadership experience, ideally within aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
- Proven track record in managing teams and achieving operational goals.
- Strong understanding of lean principles, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
