Description

As a Superintendent, you will oversee construction activities on healthcare renovation projects. You'll be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules-all while working in sensitive environments such as ICUs, birthing units, and other occupied hospital spaces.

This role requires a leader who is both detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to balance technical expertise and professional mindfulness in high-stakes settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage on-site construction activities for healthcare facility projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Uphold strict safety standards and infection control protocols in occupied hospital environments.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and hospital staff.
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Foster collaboration and uphold company values in every aspect of the work.

Profile

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in healthcare construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital renovation practices and working in occupied facilities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for growth and innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across Central and Northern Virginia or Southern Maryland

Job Offer

  • Salary: $105,000-$135,000+ (based on experience and location)
  • Car Allowance: $1,000/month for Superintendents
