Senior Estimator- Construction

As a Construction Estimator, you will analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to accurately estimate costs and timelines. Your expertise will ensure competitive bids and efficient project planning, contributing to the success of our construction projects.

Client Details

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Estimator with a proven track record across all 16 construction divisions. This leadership role involves managing a team of estimators and delivering accurate cost assessments for a diverse range of projects, including municipal, educational, multi-family, healthcare, office, and retail developments in both public and private sectors.

Description

• Lead and mentor Trade and Project Estimators.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Collaborate closely with the Estimating Director to strategize project approaches.
• Utilize strong software skills to streamline estimation processes.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to understand scope and requirements.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project deadlines.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of estimating experience across all 16 construction divisions.
• Proven experience with municipal, educational, multi-family, healthcare, office, and retail projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing estimator teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software and tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of public and private sector construction practices.
