Project Manager- Multifamily Construction
A leading general contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in managing multifamily construction projects. Description
Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communications
Conduct weekly project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and field teams
Monitor and manage risk, proactively resolving issues to keep the project on track
Profile
5+ years of experience in ground-up multifamily construction, preferably in Florida
Proven success as a Project Manager or strong APM ready to step up
Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and subcontractor market
Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and clients
Proficient in construction software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
