Project Manager- Multifamily Construction

A leading general contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in managing multifamily construction projects. Description

  • Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communications

  • Conduct weekly project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and field teams

  • Monitor and manage risk, proactively resolving issues to keep the project on track

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in ground-up multifamily construction, preferably in Florida

  • Proven success as a Project Manager or strong APM ready to step up

  • Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and subcontractor market

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and clients

  • Proficient in construction software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
