Description
A position is available for experienced Underwriters with 2-10 years of background in real estate finance. The role involves underwriting bridge financing for multi-family properties, with a focus on floating-rate structures. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex transactions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite bridge loan opportunities for multi-family assets.
- Review borrower financials, property performance, and market conditions.
- Structure transactions with emphasis on floating-rate financing.
- Prepare credit memoranda and present recommendations to internal committees.
- Coordinate with originators, asset managers, and other stakeholders to support transaction execution.
- Monitor portfolio performance and assist with risk management activities.
Profile
- 2-10 years of underwriting experience in real estate finance, preferably with multi-family assets.
- Knowledge of bridge loan structures and floating-rate products.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and market research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Job Offer
- Based on years of experience, competitive base salary between $125,000 - $250,000.
