As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the entire business unit from a finance and accounting standpoint. In addition, you will be a key driver in process improvement initiatives and partner cross-functionally to increase the company's growth and profitability.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the entire business unit from a finance and accounting standpoint. In addition, you will be a key driver in process improvement initiatives and partner cross-functionally to increase the company's growth and profitability.

Description

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial performance daily, weekly, and monthly, delivering insights to various departments and senior leadership.
• Monitor essential performance indicators, such as sales and profitability across different product lines and marketing channels.
• Convert raw data into analyses that generate actionable insights capable of enhancing enterprise value, including sales and gross profit evaluations, freight analysis, and productivity assessments.
• Support other departments in identifying and measuring key factors for success.
• Evaluate supply chain and inventory alternatives.
• Provide constructive feedback to team members and company leaders to help refine business operations.
• Prepare and compile materials and presentations for monthly board meetings.
• Perform acquisition analysis, planning, and model development to offer financial support.
• Develop and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Address business questions and issues by offering financial insights and serving as a financial advisor to other departments.
• Analyze results for inclusion in the global monthly reporting package, comparing actual performance against budget and assessing product margin contributions.
• Present financial performance, full-year forecasts, and budget variances, highlighting financial opportunities and risks.
• Manage the annual budget and forecast planning process, including ongoing analysis of performance against budget/forecast.
• Evaluate business cases by modeling financial returns for potential projects.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to provide inputs for multi-week cash flow forecasts.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of finance experience
• Manufacturing industry or relevant industry
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Strong business partnering and communication skills
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
