Client Details

We are currently partnered up with a growing Manufacturing Company in their search to add an Assistant Controller to their Accounting department. This position will report up into the Global Controller and will oversee a team of 3 accountants. The ideal candidate will have their CPA and/or Public Accounting Experience, Manufacturing & Inventory Experience, and Mentorship/Managerial experience. Description

The Assistant Controller - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage internal and external audits, including audit preparation and follow-up on findings.
• Oversee general ledger activities and reconcile accounts.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support the Controller with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.

Profile

The ideal Assistant Controller - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• CPA and/or Public Accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Offer

The successful Assistant Controller - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:

• Base Salary of $110,000-$140,000 depending on experience and certifications
• Bonus of 10%
