Superintendent

A Nashville‑based GC is seeking a local Superintendent to oversee ground‑up and commercial construction projects throughout Middle Tennessee. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader who excels in managing subcontractors, jobsite safety, scheduling, and quality control - all while staying fully local with no travel required.

Description

• Lead all on‑site construction activities for local commercial projects
• Manage subcontractors, jobsite safety, scheduling, and quality control
• Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams throughout project lifecycle
• Maintain detailed daily logs, RFIs, inspections, and progress reporting
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to company quality standards

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC
• Background in ground‑up or interior commercial construction
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
• Comprehensive understanding of scheduling, safety, and site documentation
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple phases of construction on local job sites
