Manager, Audience Development and Membership
This position combines marketing, outreach, community cultivation, and data-driven strategy to attract and convert audiences-particularly within media, sports, gaming, entertainment, and technology sectors-into engaged, long-term members.

Our client is a well-established nonprofit cultural organization.
Description
- Drive daily visitation to meet visitor targets for the organization's programs and exhibitions.
- Increase attendance across events such as family days, screenings, and tournaments.
- Support member engagement and acquisition through marketing, events, and social media in collaboration with Development.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow audience engagement across onsite and digital channels including email and social media.
- Lead targeted outreach to recruit and retain new members, focusing on media, sports, gaming, entertainment, and tech sectors.
- Partner with internal teams (Social Media, Creative Services, Development) to create compelling member experiences and promotions.
- Support audience development for invitation-only events, previews, receptions, and fundraising activities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the organization across public channels and at events.
- Assist with development of marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, invitations, and other communications.
- Provide regular reporting on performance, trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Participate in additional projects as assigned.
Profile
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Creative thinker with a strong data-driven marketing approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- 5+ years of experience in audience development, marketing, or account relationship management, preferably in nonprofit or cultural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of media, entertainment, sports, and/or gaming industries.
- Proven project management and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work early mornings and late evenings as needed to support events.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus.
