Engineering Manager | Gears

The Engineering Manager will be leading a team of Process Engineers for a leading Aerospace & Defense company that specializes in the Manufacturing of Gears. Reporting directly to the CEO, this candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a top contributor within the organization.

Description

• Prepare gear designs for production.
• Prepare quotes on new and existing business.
• Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
• Develop innovative solutions.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process.
• Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
• Advise on corrective actions.
• Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, which is a key to be successful in this position

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Preferably BSME or work equivalent.
• Previous Gear Process Engineer experience as well as managerial experience.
• Cad experience, Solid Works experience.
• Machining experience all preferred.
• Previous quoting experience preferred.
• Computer literate, detail orientated, strong interpersonal and communications skills. Strong math skills, strong analytical skills and team player all required.

Job Offer

• Base salary range $100,000 - $140,000 depending on level of experience
• Annual bonus incentive of 10% based on personal metrics & company performance
