Description
The Construction Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple stakeholders, maintain tight control over project cost and schedule, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction from project inception to completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality goals.
- Collaborate with internal development, design, and operations teams, as well as external consultants and contractors.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities and maintain strong on-site presence through regular visits and inspections.
- Manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation using standard construction management software.
- Maintain compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local permitting requirements.
- Track and report on project performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing multifamily or commercial construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project cost control.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
