This position oversees multiple technical programs within a precision‑manufacturing environment. The Project Manager serves as the primary customer point of contact, ensuring project scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are consistently achieved. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, presenting status updates to leadership, managing risks, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Occasional travel to customer and partner sites may be required.

The company operates in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment and offers a collaborative culture, cutting‑edge technology, and a 9/80 work schedule.


Description



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all project activities to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for external programs
  • Lead project meetings and present schedule, milestones, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments, risk registers, and mitigation plans
  • Create project feasibility studies, compliance matrices, and detailed project plans
  • Track project progress against schedule, budget, and phase‑gate objectives
  • Manage allocation of resources, equipment, and materials
  • Facilitate communication across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams
  • Provide program updates and collect customer feedback through sales and marketing channels
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations (including export control/ITAR)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Profile



Ideal Candidate:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or related technical field
  • ~5+ years project/program management experience and ~10 years overall industry experience
  • Eligible to work under U.S. export control (ITAR) requirements
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Ability to read technical documentation, interpret data, and support cross-functional problem‑solving
