We are partnering with a highly respected and well-established construction firm, in West Palm Beach, FL, to fill a Project Executive role. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced construction leader to join a top-tier organization known for its commitment to excellence in delivering high-quality commercial and mixed-use projects.
Description
The Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing the execution of large-scale, high-profile construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of each project within budget, on time, and according to our clients high standards of quality. This senior leadership role requires significant experience in managing complex projects, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of large-scale construction projects, from pre-construction to final delivery.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide leadership to project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and claims management.
- Proactively address project risks, challenges, and issues to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project performance and prepare regular progress reports for senior leadership and clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all project phases.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development efforts.
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior project management or leadership role.
- Proven success in managing large-scale commercial or mixed-use construction projects.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate complex project challenges and maintain positive client relationships.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
