Project Manager - Commercial - Tampa

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about construction and looking to work with a top general contractor on significant educational projects.

Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Monitor project progress, including inspections, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to review progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on educational facilities.
  • Experience with Procore
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the greater Tampa area.
