Project Manager - Concrete Contractor

As Project Manager, you'll lead commercial concrete construction projects from estimating through completion. You'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet quality and safety standards, and maintain strong client relationships.

My client is a family-owned commercial concrete construction firm based in Montgomery County PA. Established in 1958, and known across the Tri-state area for high-quality concrete foundations, flatwork, reinforced and post-tension concrete, concrete paving, equipment sales, and concrete pumping.

Description

• Lead project planning: budgets, schedules, subcontracts, procurement
• Coordinate on-site activities: crews, subcontractors, equipment
• Oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and project-level financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
• Communicate regularly with clients, general contractors, engineers, and stakeholders
• Review technical drawings, specs, coordinate with field foremen
• Manage risk and proactively solve field issues
• Conduct site visits and inspections of quality and progress
• Close out projects: punch lists, client acceptance, documentation

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial concrete project management
• Proven ability managing budgets, schedules, and quality control
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• In-depth knowledge of concrete construction processes: foundations, flatwork, post-tension, structural
• Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
• Capable of working in field conditions; valid driver's license required
