Accountant - Fast Growth Food and Beverage Brand

Client Details

Our client is a fast growth food and beverage brand who have delivered huge growth across the last few years. They are now stocked in most major grocery stores and are looking to expand on this even further. They have a fantastic office culture that is founded on a 5 days in office policy, but comes with flexibility and a positive working environment. Description

• Month-End Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Year-End Support: Provide assistance with year-end financial reporting, audits, and tax preparation.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other necessary reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• General Ledger Entries: Process journal entries for various accounts as needed.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Support in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Financial Reporting: Help generate monthly financial reports and maintain proper records for internal and external audits.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Provide additional accounting support for various projects as required by the finance team.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (preferred but not required).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to grow within the food and beverage industry.

Job Offer

• Salary $70,000 to $95,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience
