Futures Operations Consultant
The Futures Operations Consultant will play a critical role in supporting operational processes within the financial services industry.

Description
- 2am - 10am schedule, fully remote.
- Ensure all futures and options trades are cleared, allocated, and booked accurately in client accounts on trade date.
- Oversee the complete post‑trade delivery process, handling everything from contract expiration to delivery notices and physical settlements at global exchanges.
- Oversee daily operations related to futures trading activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in trade settlements and reconciliations.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions and ensure all operational activities align with company policies.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and regulatory filings.
- Identify and escalate any operational risks or issues promptly to the appropriate teams.
- Support system enhancements and participate in testing for process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and counterparties to address inquiries and resolve operational matters.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in futures operations.

Profile
A successful Futures Operations Contractor should have:
- 5+ years of futures and options operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of GMI.
- Knowledge of exchange clearing platforms- LME, ICE, ECS, EUREX, etc.
- Strong knowledge of financial services and banking operations, particularly in futures trading.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage operational processes effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for trade settlements and reporting.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
