Project Manager - Multifamily Construction - Richmond,VA

Our client, a well-established general contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a $30M ground-up multifamily project in Richmond, VA. This role is critical to securing a long-term partnership with the developer, and the company is looking to hire immediately to meet a March 21st decision deadline.

Description

• Oversee all aspects of the $30M ground-up multifamily project, ensuring it is completed on budget and on schedule.
• Select and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work while controlling costs.
• Work closely with the preconstruction team to refine estimates and manage project planning.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with the development team, architects, and engineers to troubleshoot design and construction challenges.
• Utilize Procore and Microsoft Office to track project documentation, schedules, and budgets.
• Report directly to the Vice President

Profile

• 5+ years of project management experience with a focus on ground-up multifamily projects.
• Recent experience managing at least three multifamily projects valued at $15M+.
• Senior Project Managers open to a PM role will be considered.
• Strong ability to select and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Preconstruction or estimating experience is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and budget-conscious.

Job Offer

• Competitive Salary: $130K - $160K
• Vehicle Allowance: $700 per week or company vehicle
