Payroll Support Specialist - Moorestown, NJ - $23-$25/hour
The Payroll Support Specialist will support the payroll function for a multi‑location organization by ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and compliance across payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration. It's ideal for someone with strong Excel skills who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys providing high‑quality support to employees and HR teams. This role is five days a week on-site in Moorestown, NJ, commutable from Philadelphia.

Our client is a large, rapidly growing distribution company that supplies nationally recognized brands to retailers across multiple states. They are a major player in the consumer goods distribution space, servicing stores daily and maintaining a strong reputation for consistency, accuracy, and service.
The Payroll Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely payroll operations. This position is responsible for verifying payroll data, processing adjustments, generating and analyzing reports, and maintaining dashboards using advanced Excel skills. In addition to payroll support, the role assists with benefits invoicing, 401(k) administration, compliance tasks, and record keeping, while also serving as a primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
This is a detail‑focused, fast‑paced position that requires strong organization, confidentiality, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a structured HR and payroll environment.
This is a full-time position that pays $23-$25/hour. This position is full-time in-office in Moorestown, NJ.
Description
- Process and review employee payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date and organized.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources and Finance departments to address payroll-related issues.
- Assist with payroll audits and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Support the implementation of payroll system updates and improvements.
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department as required.
