My client is a leading food and beverage product manufacturing company based in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Packaging Development Manager to lead our packaging initiatives within the food manufacturing sector.

Description
The responsibilities of the Sr Package Development Manager are
- Leadership: Lead the packaging development team in designing and executing innovative packaging solutions that meet market demands and company objectives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple packaging development projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and supply chain, to ensure packaging aligns with product specifications and consumer preferences.
- Material Selection: Research and select appropriate packaging materials that meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of packaging designs to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation in packaging strategies.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality materials and services.
- Budget Oversight: Manage packaging development budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Profile
A successful packaging development manager candidate must have
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, Materials Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in packaging development within the food industry, with a proven track record of successful project management.

Skills:
- Strong understanding of packaging materials and technologies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in CAD software and packaging design tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
