Accounting Manager

Our client, a premier luxury fashion brand based in Secaucus, NJ, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role. This role is open to Part-Time candidates as well.

Description

This role will involve:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Review financial statements and variance analysis to identify and address any discrepancies.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on accounting best practices and software tools.
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, inter-company accounts, and other key financial records.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience (Retail)
• Must be able to jump right in
• Supervising experiencing (will be supervising 4-5 people)
• General Accounting experience
• SAP experience
• Treasury experience
