Superintendent

A Memphis‑based GC is seeking a local Superintendent to oversee ground‑up and commercial construction projects throughout the greater Memphis market. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader who excels in managing subcontractors, enforcing safety, maintaining schedules, and delivering high‑quality results - all while staying fully local with no travel required.

Description

• Lead daily construction operations on local commercial job sites
• Manage subcontractors, jobsite safety, inspections, and quality control
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers throughout each phase of construction
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, documentation, and scheduling updates
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to company quality standards

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC
• Proven background in ground‑up or interior commercial construction
• Strong leadership ability and effective subcontractor management skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple phases and deliver consistently on local projects
