Description
Reporting into the R&D Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement innovative automation systems for manufacturing processes.
- Design, program, simulate, and test electrical control systems for automation machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct research to stay abreast of latest trends and advancements in automation technology.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all engineering projects.
Profile
A successful Automation Engineer III should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience in relevant engineering and automation roles.
- An in-depth understanding of electrical engineering principles and automation systems.
- Experience with PLC's, HMI's, motion control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proven track record in managing complex engineering projects.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
- A strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
