Quality Engineer- Automotive- Pittsburgh, PA
The Quality Engineer (Automotive) supports manufacturing operations by driving IATF 16949 compliance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures products meet customer and regulatory standards through hands-on problem-solving, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Description
The Quality Engineer (Automotive) will:
- Support and maintain IATF 16949 compliance across manufacturing processes.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Monitor product quality through inspections, testing, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with internal and customer audits, ensuring documentation and processes meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Profile
The successful applicant will have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards, quality systems, and audit processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and suppliers.
