Description

The main responsibilities for the Production Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day production across multiple machining departments, ensuring delivery schedules and quality standards are consistently met
• Manage and mentor a team of machine operators, programmers, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and leadership teams to optimize workflow and support new product introductions
• Monitor key performance metrics, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with ISO and ITAR standards
• Oversee equipment utilization, maintenance scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize productivity
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skillsets and career growth
• Lead problem-solving efforts to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and maintain precision machining standards

Profile

The successful Production Manager will have the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of production management or supervisory experience in a CNC machining/manufacturing environment
• Experience managing productivity and drive output while maintaining a positive culture in the machine shop
• Experience working with ISO 9001 and ITAR standards
• ERP experience is required, with experience implementing a new ERP system preferred
• Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate teams in a fast-paced production setting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
