Manager Materials Planning

The Manager of Materials Planning role in the Technology & Telecoms industry focuses on overseeing and optimizing material planning processes within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. Description

• Develop and implement efficient material planning strategies to support business goals.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and supply chain teams to ensure inventory optimization.
• Oversee the coordination of material requirements to meet production schedules.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Create and manage budgets for material planning and procurement activities.
• Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and improve planning accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Manager of Materials Planning should have:

• A strong background in materials planning, procurement, or supply chain management within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SIOP experience
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools.
• The ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly.
• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering.
