Construction Project Manager

$100,000 - $115,000/Year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager for our Tampa, Florida team to lead and manage commercial landscape and hardscape projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cost management, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and profitability enhancement.

Description



Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition work from approved estimate to project, primarily focusing on cost management.
  • Coordinate thehandoff of projects from the 'Getting Work Team' to the 'Do Work Team.'
    • Manage buyouts, including selecting subcontractors and suppliers, scope reviews, negotiations, and contract award processes.
    • Review and approve submittals.
    • Establish and manage project schedules.
  • Oversee project billings, ensuring accurate internal communication and follow-up.
  • Handle change order reviews and ensure accurate change order pricing.
  • Enhance project profitability by managing costs, resources, and time effectively.
  • Manage the project close-out process, ensuring all final documentation is completed.

Profile

Required Technical Knowledge for Construction Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and project management within the landscape and hardscape industry.
  • Strong understanding of conceptual estimating and project budgeting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of landscape and irrigation systems.
  • Expertise in Take-off Software for accurate material estimation.
  • Proficient in industry bid solicitation portals and software.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Procore Project Software and general computer skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate skills in Outlook and Word.
  • Basic understanding of HubSpot CRM.
