MEP Superintendent
The MEP Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems installation on-site. This role ensures that all MEP work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.

Our client is a leading real estate development and construction firm specializing in high-quality multifamily residential projects across South Florida. Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and driven MEP Superintendent to join us on a project in North Miami. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mid- to high-rise multifamily developments with a company known for delivering excellence.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all MEP field operations and subcontractors on multifamily construction sites.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for MEP systems.
Ensure work is installed per plans, specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
Interface daily with the general superintendent, project manager, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Schedule and oversee inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party consultants.
Conduct quality control inspections of MEP installations and document any deficiencies.
Track and manage MEP construction progress and provide input for project schedule updates.
Collaborate in the planning and execution of MEP system commissioning.
Identify and help resolve coordination conflicts in the field, including clashes between trades.
Maintain daily reports, job site photos, and logs of MEP activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
Profile
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or similar role, with a strong focus on multifamily projects.
Solid knowledge of MEP systems and best practices in residential mid- and high-rise construction.
Strong understanding of South Florida building codes, especially in Miami-Dade County.
Proven ability to manage MEP subcontractors and coordinate field activities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
OSHA 30 certification required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
