Superintendent
My client is a leading general contractor specializing in commercial construction, and they're seeking 1-2 Superintendents to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting commercial projects with industry experts in a dynamic envrionment.
Client Details
My client is an Arizona based 100% employee owned ENR ranked General Contractor with an excellent market reputation. Their projects typically range in size and include a variety of different sector projects.
Description
- Manage job site safety, quality, and schedule for assigned projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Ensure Crestline's standards of quality and safety are adhered to by assertively championing Crestline's safety culture to project team and subcontractors.
- Mentor and develop field team members while effectively managing the overall team and represent Crestline Construction in a professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, project team members, and field personnel.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trades, and governmental agencies.
- Responsible for the project set-up, job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
- Review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
- Maintain and update project records including RFI's.
- Create and enforce a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Managers.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.
Profile
- 5+ year's experience in large scale construction
- Must have expereince working on large commercial projects
- Well established tenure working for notable general contractors
- Complete understanding of the construction process
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
- Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willing to take on multiple responsibilities and complete a variety of tasks to complete projects on time
