Service Manager - Automotive - Lowell, MA
The Service Manager will oversee all coordinating and management of vehicle service operations. This includes service writing, scheduling, and customer communication. You will oversee repairs, manage technicians, and prepare work orders and repair estimates.

The responsibilities of this Service Manager role include:
- Service writing, preparing orders and job estimates, repair authorization, quoting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage a team of technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage parts warehouse, ordering, and and service inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and resource allocation.
- Analyze performance data and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to address their needs and concerns effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Profile
A successful Service Supervisor / Manager should have:
- High School Degree.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Experience in the automotive industry, vehicle maintenance or experience in vehicle and customer service at a dealership.
- Experience as a service writer, service advisor, or in a customer-facing repair role.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to manage projects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and operational standards.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and tools to monitor performance and operations.
- Valid Massachusetts Drivers License.
