Description

The Senior Superintendent will oversee day-to-day site activities, maintain open communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, and drive teams toward efficient, on-time project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities for commercial, residential, and restoration projects.

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedule.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.

• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to avoid delays and budget overruns.

• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to align site activities with project goals.

• Conduct regular site inspections and meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Mentor and guide junior superintendents and field staff.

Profile

• Minimum 10 years of superintendent experience in commercial, residential, or restoration construction.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Deep knowledge of South Florida construction practices, permitting, and safety regulations.

• Familiarity with construction management software and digital tools.

• OSHA certification required; additional safety training preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
