Production Manager | Surface Operations - Chemicals

Globally Recognized Chemical Manufacturer, focusing in materials, chemicals and solutions, is seeking a Production Manager. You will report directly to the Site Manager and be responsible for Surface Plant Operations at 24/7 site overseeing a team of 115 people

This site serves as a key player in the company's production of sodium carbonate (soda ash) and related products. This facility is part of organization's extensive global operations and contributes to its leadership in the chemical and materials industries.

Description

• Ensuring a safe working environment with the goal of zero injuries and supporting Production Leaders in advancing the site's safety transformation efforts.
• Collaborating with Planning & Logistics to develop an effective production plan that aligns with customer demand and business objectives for cost and profitability.
• Coaching and inspiring Production Leaders to help them build new leadership capabilities and maximize team effectiveness.
• Partnering with Maintenance and Technical teams to develop maintenance outage plans, annual capital budgets, and execution plans for major projects.
• Establishing expectations for collaboration, communication, and teamwork that promote a high‑performance culture across the Production organization.

This position is an at‑will role based onsite and follows a 4/10 work schedule.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles combining technical and managerial responsibilities.
• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
