Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team and take full responsibility for managing job sites from start to finish.

Description

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects (typically under $5M in value)

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries

• Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA and local regulations

• Enforce project schedules and proactively solve conflicts or delays

• Read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and specifications

• Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs and report progress to project manager

• Ensure quality control and adherence to contract documents

• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors

• Maintain daily logs, photos, and field reports using project management software

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent or foreman on commercial projects

• Proven experience working in New York City with knowledge of DOB regulations and permitting

• Strong understanding of construction means and methods

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Proficient with project management tools (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)

• OSHA 30 Certification (required)
