Reliability Engineer - Steel Manufacturer | 20% Bonus!
Our client is looking for a Reliability Engineer to develop and maintain equipment reliability strategies across North American sites, ensuring effective maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall business performance. Provide expert guidance on equipment design, performance analysis, and reliability audits while collaborating with external support for targeted improvement efforts.

Our client is a leading global steel manufacturer with numerous locations across the U.S. and North America. This role is based at their corporate headquarters in Northwest Indiana, distinct from their production facilities.
Description
- Generate and maintain equipment reliability strategy for all sites across North America
- Direct Equipment Maintenance Programs (EMP) to achieve required goals are developed and implemented
- Conduct Manufacturing Performance Analysis and Performance Management
- Provide reliability services to mill business units and act as a liaison for external reliability support including but not limited to Asset Prioritization, FMEA, RCA, targeted improvement efforts
- Participate in continuous improvement of both Equipment and Product/Process performance, thereby improving the overall Business Unit performance
- Provide expert level guidance and technical input around equipment redesign to ensure reliability is incorporated into all equipment modifications or new installations
- Audit the North America sites on Asset Reliability Maintenance Program
- Audit the sparing strategy of the North America sites

Profile
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or reliability positions in a steel mill, or other heavy industrial environment;
- Ability to lead a team through the following sub-processes: Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
- Predictive Maintenance Technology (PdM): Understands the application of Predictive Maintenance technologies (Vibration, Thermography, Lubrication Analysis, Motor Current Analysis, etc.)

Job Offer
- Base Salary between $90,000 - $110,000
- Bonus of 20%
- 3 weeks PTO
