MEP Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, with a strong focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and experienced leader who can manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships across various types of construction projects.

We are a reputable and growing general contractor based in Montgomery County, PA, specializing in a wide range of construction projects including commercial, multifamily, life sciences, and institutional builds. We're currently looking for a seasoned Construction Project Manager with strong MEP experience and team leadership capabilities to manage complex projects from start to finish.

Description

• Lead the planning and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

• Oversee MEP design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning, and quality control.

• Manage and mentor on-site teams including assistant project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to solve challenges and maintain project alignment.

• Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are met.

• Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.

• Ensure all work is compliant with applicable codes, regulations, and specifications.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (required).

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with proven expertise in MEP systems.

• Experience managing diverse project types including commercial, multifamily, life science, and institutional.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead project teams effectively.

• Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar tools.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with local codes and permitting processes in Pennsylvania is a plus.
