Letters of Credit Specialist
As a Letters of Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and processing letters of credit, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, banks, and internal teams to facilitate smooth trade transactions.

Description
- Process daily invoices received from corresponding banks or branches in a timely manner.
- Prepare and forward invoices to customers for fees requested by corresponding banks or branches.
- Track invoices sent to customers daily and follow up as necessary.
- Record standby and commercial letters of credit activity in ACBS.
- Maintain an up-to-date file of letters of credit, including executed copies, amendments, and compliance checklists when required.
- Coordinate with the Reconciliation team to report detailed overdue items.
- Provide daily updates to overseas branches and corresponding banks.
- Scan and archive processed work daily for both standby and documentary operations.
Profile
- Proficient understanding of UCP 600/ISP98, trade finance operations, and compliance procedures.
- Capable of reviewing and processing documents with precision and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to assess discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Skilled in using systems such as ACBS, Microsoft Word, and other relevant trade finance tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with clients, internal teams, and corresponding banks.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Focused on providing assistance and support to clients and corporate groups on technical aspects of letters of credit.
- Proactive in tracing and resolving pending inquiries, discrepancies, and issues until transactions are finalized.
