    Robotics & Automation

    • Program, modify, and optimize industrial robot systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, or similar) for welding, material handling, and automated processes.
    • Diagnose robotic faults, perform path adjustments, and ensure repeatable, high‑quality operation within automated cells.
    • Support integration of new robotic systems, end‑of‑arm tooling, and automation components into production equipment.

    Controls & Electrical Support

    • Troubleshoot control system issues, including PLCs, HMIs, safety circuits, sensors, and wiring.
    • Assist with commissioning of new automation systems, including I/O setup, electrical testing, and system validation.
    • Collaborate with Controls Engineers on system upgrades and modifications.

    Mechanical & Welding Knowledge

    • Apply mechanical engineering principles to ensure proper function, alignment, and performance of automated tooling and fixtures.
    • Support robotic welding applications-understanding weld sequencing, torch angles, wire feed, and weld parameters is a major plus.
    • Participate in root cause analysis for weld quality issues, robotic performance, and equipment reliability.

    On-the-Fly Troubleshooting & Support

    • Respond quickly to machine/robot alarms and production stoppages.
    • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for robotic cells and automation equipment.
    • Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and project teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of hands-on robotic programming experience (preferred: FANUC, ABB, Motoman/Yaskawa).
  • Strong understanding of controls, automation, and electromechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge of industrial welding processes (MIG/TIG/laser)-robotic welding experience is a major advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with PLC-based systems, machine wiring, sensors, and safety components is highly beneficial.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude-comfortable working in a shop-floor automation environment.
  • Effective communicator capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from $85000 to $95000 annually.
  • Opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative industrial and manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive on-the-job training and professional development.
