Senior Project Engineer - Industrial - Springfield, MA
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will focus on a broad range of responsibilities in product development, design, improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage new product development and R&D to improve and advance existing products.

Description
- Leverage metrics and data-driven analysis to evaluate product performance, uncover opportunities, and influence product roadmaps and strategic direction.
- Lead and manage new product development projects, including researching and integrating emerging technologies to enhance existing product lines.
- Ensure products are designed with safety in mind-both for manufacturability and end-user application.
- Guide cross-functional teams focused on cost reduction, resource optimization, and the successful launch of new products without compromising quality.
- Analyze product designs to identify over-tolerancing and areas for manufacturing efficiency improvements.
- Review and enhance current processes to boost productivity and efficiency, using performance metrics (e.g., quote/order cycle time, customer response time).
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- 5+ years of experience in product design/development
- 3+ years in project management
- Experience using GD&T
