Job Requirements of BIM Coordinator - Underground Utilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for underground utility installationsCoordinate models across all trades, perform clash detection, and facilitate resolution
Implement and uphold company BIM standards, templates, and project-specific execution plans
Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams through regular BIM coordination meetings
Deliver as-built models and close-out documentation
Extract data from models for quantity take-offs, scheduling, and estimating
Provide technical support and software training to internal teams
Conduct regular quality control checks and troubleshoot model issues
Recommend improvements to tools and workflows based on BIM best practices
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Revit (required); experience with BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus
3+ years of experience in a BIM coordination or modeling role, preferably in civil or utility infrastructure
Strong understanding of BIM execution plans, construction workflows, and model coordination
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of BIM-related initiatives
Passion for process improvement and technology integration

BIM Coordinator - Underground Utilities
As the BIM Coordinator, you'll lead all modeling and coordination efforts for underground utility projects, ensuring accuracy, clash detection, and alignment across disciplines. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to build out BIM processes, support project planning, and drive technology adoption company-wide.

Description
