Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing - Milton, MA

As the Process Engineer, you will work on the operations team developing new efficiencies to the manufacturing processes. Through your efforts in troubleshooting, cross-functional team collaboration, and process commercialization, you will make lasting impacts on this chemical manufacturing plant.

Description

Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through startup
• Assess processes for efficiency and develop improvements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain equipment reliability and system performance
• Conduct process simulations and troubleshooting
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions
• Comply with industry safety and quality standards
• Manage cost and time constraints

Profile

A successful Process Engineer should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Chemical manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of process improvement techniques
• Proficiency in process simulation software
• Excellent technical and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
