Assistant Project Manager - K-12 - Washington, DC
Our client, a distinguished general contractor with 33 years in the industry, seeks a driven Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to join their team. This role will support active projects across the Washington, D.C., area, including modernization and ground-up projects in the K-12 and public sector.

Description
- Project Support: Assist in project submittals, prepare subcontracts, and provide essential administrative support.
- Meeting Participation: Actively participate in project kick-off, safety, owner, and scheduling meetings.
- Superintendent Collaboration: Aid the project superintendent with daily administrative tasks, including photo documentation, safety inspections, and schedule updates.
- Scheduling Assistance: Contribute to project scheduling with two- and four-week schedule look-aheads.
Profile
- Experience: 3-5 years in project management support, preferably in commercial or public sector construction.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; proficiency in MS Office, project management software preferred.
- Personality: Eager to learn, solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to supporting project goals.
