My client is seeking a Product Engineer with expertise in single crystal (SX) technology, responsible for developing and optimizing processes to produce high-performance single crystal components, ensuring they meet stringent quality and performance standards

Description

This role will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for

• Developing and optimizing single crystal (SX) production processes to meet quality standards.
• Conducting material testing and analysis to ensure performance and reliability of single crystal components.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the SX manufacturing process.
• Documenting process improvements and maintaining technical specifications for single crystal products.
• Collaborating closely with customer technical teams to define the most manufacturable and cost-effective components that meet customer requirements.
• Investigating and initiating corrective actions to resolve manufacturing challenges in both product creation and inspection/testing phases.
• Establishing equipment specifications, improving manufacturing techniques, and introducing new process equipment into production while ensuring process and design compatibility.
• Reviewing and evaluating engineering changes, performing technical liaison functions with production planning and engineering teams, and recommending design alterations to enhance product quality and procedures.

Profile

The successful candidate will have

• 5+ years of product development experience
• Familiarity with Single Crystal (SX) Technology
• Full product lifecycle knowledge
• Project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
