Multifamily Superintendent

A superintendent working on on a ground-up multifamily construction project oversees the day-to-day operations of the job site, ensuring work is completed on schedule and according to specifications. They manage subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with project managers to maintain quality control and keep the project moving forward smoothly.

Description

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of multifamily residential construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring all work meets safety standards, quality control guidelines, and project specifications.
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Manage materials and equipment inventory, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to prevent project delays.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the construction team, project manager, and client, providing regular updates on project status.
• Enforce job site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Address and resolve on-site challenges, troubleshoot problems, and ensure smooth communication across all teams.
• Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of any changes or issues encountered.

Profile

• Degree in a related field
• Proven experience being a superintendent for multifamily apartment buildings
• Ground up experience
• 5+ years being a superintendent
• Experience working with General Contractors
