CNC Programmer - Metal Manufacturing - Bridgewater, MA
The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming and operating CNC mills and lathes to support the continued growth and expanded capabilities of machining operations. The role includes part setup, dimensional inspection, basic machine maintenance, and efficient material and chip handling to ensure accurate and reliable production.

Description
In this role you will report directly into the Machine Shop Manager and be responsible for:
- Operating and setting up CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
- Loading, unloading, and securing materials and workpieces safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring machining operations and making adjustments to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Documenting production data, inspection results, and process information accurately.
- Performing basic machine maintenance and housekeeping to support safe and efficient operations.
- Applying CNC programming knowledge and G-Code understanding to support setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Following established safety procedures, quality requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years of machinist experience
- Blueprint reading and interpreting skills
- Engineering documentation experience
- Machine setup and operation capabilities
- CNC programming and G-Code knowledge
