We are representing a well-established, highly respected general contractor in the Washington, DC area seeking Superintendents at all levels (Assistant through Senior) to support a strong and growing pipeline of work.

Description



Responsibilities (Level Dependent)

  • Oversee daily field operations from project start through closeout
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers and ownership teams
  • Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication across stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or cost
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and look-ahead schedules

  • Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a general contractor
  • Background in commercial, institutional, or multifamily construction
  • Strong ability to manage subcontractors and field operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
