The Senior HR Business Partner role is an exciting and high‑impact opportunity within a growing global food manufacturing company. This strategic leader partners with executives and operations to shape talent strategy, lead core HR initiatives, and support organizational growth.
This is a full‑time on‑site role in Union County, NJ, and requires prior manufacturing HR experience, as well as people management experience.

The Senior HR Business Partner will play a pivotal leadership role, guiding a team of HR professionals across multiple sites in New Jersey and New York while serving as a strategic advisor to the VP of HR. Candidates should have at least 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with the depth and confidence needed to support both hourly teams and senior leadership. The ideal person brings strong experience in employee relations, compliance, audits, and workers' compensation reporting, and has a demonstrated ability to build, refine, and uphold clear SLAs, SOPs, and process standards across multiple locations. This role calls for someone who is highly organized, naturally process‑driven, and excited to help a growing company modernize its systems, improve workflow consistency, and elevate the overall employee experience.
Description
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals across multiple locations in NJ and NY, ensuring consistent, high‑quality HR support.
- Partner closely with the VP of HR to drive people strategy, operational excellence, and organizational change.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership, supporting workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, and organization-wide initiatives.
- Oversee and elevate HR processes by creating, standardizing, and maintaining clear SLAs, SOPs, and scalable workflows.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure fair, consistent resolution aligned with company policy.
- Drive compliance across all facilities, including audits, regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and workers' compensation reporting.
- Lead efforts to modernize systems, tools, and HR capabilities as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
- Analyze HR trends, metrics, and site‑level data to identify opportunities, influence decision‑making, and support continuous improvement.
Profile
- Brings at least 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a dynamic, manufacturing or operations‑driven environment.
