Quality Manager- Aviation and Aerospace- Ipswich, Ma
Join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager, where you'll lead quality assurance initiatives, oversee inspection processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence. Description
- Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls for inspections.
- Coordinate receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Supervise and train inspection personnel on commercial and military specifications.
- Review and approve test data, certificates of compliance, and discrepancy reports.
- Manage MRB actions, ensure proper material disposition, and coordinate source inspections.
- Oversee work orders, quality control training, and shipping documentation for final products.
- Foster positive communication and collaboration with team members, customers, and suppliers.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- IPC-A-610 certification
- Hands-on experience with soldering, chip, and wire assembly.
- Over 10 years of quality assurance experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Costpoint, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

9/80 Work Schedule (every other Friday off), One (1) direct report, Hands-On, 100% onsite, Company match: 100% up to 6%
