Superintendent
The Superintendent will be responsible for the on-site management of Residential and Commercial construction projects, ensuring successful completion while meeting quality, safety, and timeline standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the construction process and a dedication to excellence.
Client Details
Our client, a leading General Contractor in the New Haven area, is actively seeking an experienced Superintendent with a solid background in both Residential and Commercial construction. They are known for delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget while maintaining strong client relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment.
Description
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to maintain smooth workflow.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with all stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
- Keep detailed records, including daily reports, safety logs, and project updates.
Profile
- Minimum 7 years of Superintendent experience in the construction industry, with a focus on both Residential and Commercial projects.
- Proven track record in successfully leading construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
