Production Manager
Our client is seeking a Production Manager to join the team at their beverage manufacturing facility in San Diego. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Description
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are met, and products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring that they are aligned with customer demand and production capacity.
- Monitor and maintain production line efficiency and productivity, identifying and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are being followed, and that employees are adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Train, coach, and mentor production employees to ensure that they are meeting productivity and quality targets.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure that equipment is in good working order.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all raw materials and finished products are accounted for accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure that production processes are integrated and aligned with the overall business strategy.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as food science, engineering, or business) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a production management role within a beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of employees.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and production best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using production management software.
