We are seeking a Global Payroll Director to lead and optimize our payroll operations across multiple countries. This is a high-impact role for a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environment.
$200k-250k + bonus and equity. Based in Raleigh - will provide relocation.

Description
- Oversee and manage global payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local, state, and international payroll regulations.
- Lead payroll system implementations and transformations, ensuring a seamless transition and optimization of payroll processes.
- Drive the global standardization and automation of payroll processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- Ensure full compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements in all operating regions.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing payroll team, fostering professional growth and a culture of operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure payroll accuracy, reporting, and system integrations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all payroll-related matters, providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with external vendors, including ADP, to optimize global payroll solutions.
- Handle complex payroll issues, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
Profile
- 10+ years of payroll experience, with at least 5+ years managing global payroll operations.
- Proven experience leading global payroll implementations and transformations.
- Strong expertise with ADP payroll systems (ADP GlobalView, ADP Workforce Now, or similar).
- Experience managing payroll in a shared services environment is highly preferred.
- Exceptional people management skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of global payroll compliance, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT teams in a complex, multinational environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive change in a growing organization.
